Alex Head loves to write, both gay romances and computer software, his day job.
Alex was married for nineteen years before finally admitting to himself, and the world, that he is gay. He and his wife divorced, and ten years later he met the love of his life. They fell in love instantly. Alex proposed and his husband accepted thirteen hours after they met. They have been together now for twenty-seven years. Before meeting his husband Alex didn’t believe in love at first sight or in soul mates. Now he does, and this is a theme in several of his stories. Another theme from his life is denying you are gay until mid-life.
Alex often wonders what his life would have been like if he’d admitted to himself in high school that he is gay. This, too, is in several stories.
Alex and his husband, an artist, enjoy conversation, dinner with friends, long walks, and going to the symphony and theater. They live in Portland, Oregon, across the street from their younger son and his wife.
